Bus from Malaga Airport to Marbella
There is a direct coach service that runs from Malaga Airport to Marbella Bus Station, which takes approx 45 minutes and costs less than €10. The bus leaves from outside the arrivals hall at Malaga Airport and travels non-stop until arriving at Marbella Bus Station.
To purchase tickets at Malaga Airport, look for ticket office just outside the exit from T3 Arrivals Hall. After 20.00 buy tickets on the bus. Tickets can be purchased at Marbella Bus Station from the Portillo sales office. Tickets are issued with a seat number. We always recommend buying your ticket in advance.
In summer the buses run almost every 45 minutes, in winter bus departures from Malaga Airport to Marbella do change to every two hours so be sure to check the timetable beforehand.
Passengers with large luggage items will need to place these in the compartment under the bus.
